Cindy Perkins-Director

Cindy has been a part of the Morris community for over 25 years.  She has a BS in Recreation and Leisure Services with an emphasis in programming.  She has worked for Morris Community Education since 1979.  She knows the important role that sound health, recreation and fitness plays in the lives of people of all ages.  She was one of the original committee members instrumental in making the RFC a reality for the Morris community.  She and the other committee members spent four plus years working to gain the support and dollars necessary to build the RFC facility, which opened its doors in 1999.  She has been an active part of the RFC serving as an ex-officio on the Board and as RFC manager’s supervisor.

Leila Hormann – RFC Office Manager

Leila, who was born and grew up in the Morris area,  has a two-year degree in management and many years of experience as a manager.  Leila has been the Office Manager at the RFC since Sept. 2002.  Prior to working at the RFC, Leila spent 8 years as an assistant manager of the Alexandria Pizza Hut and was promoted to manager of the Morris Pizza Hut where she was the manager for 11 years.  She too has a strong love and commitment for the RFC, its members and staff. 

 

Sandy Grove – Senior Advisor

Sandy is the RFC’s Aerobic coordinator.  Sandy went to school at Concordia where she received her Bachelors degree in Biology and Health Education.   She then went to work for a pharmaceutical company for 9 years.    Sandy started at the RFC as a Building Supervisor in 2004; two months later she started teaching aerobics.  Sandy then took over the Children and Family Coordinator position; she worked in this position until she took over aerobics.  Sandy loves the RFC, and loves working with the people.
