Ingrid is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Her background in the fitness industry includes being employed as a Group Fitness Instructor at the RFC for the past two years and is now also taking on a new role as Personal Trainer. She has a first hand experience in maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle for the past 14 years. It is her passion to help others define and set their own fitness goals as well as construct a program that creates a positive experience, motivating clients to continue to make beneficial changes for their overall health and attain the results they are after. Ingrid has enjoyed working with people in all age groups and is trained to design programs for clients that will meet goals such as weight loss, enhanced muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, cardiorespiratory fitness and body composition. Ingrid is also a Certified Instructor for Silver Sneakers® and Spin®.
Leila has been the Business Manager at the RFC since 2002. After struggling with weight and wanting to become fit, she joined the Biggest Loser program at the RFC. She has seen the fitness industry in a brand new light and knew that she wanted to be a part in changing people’s lives like the RFC Personal Trainers did for her. Leila completed the NETA Personal Training course and was certified in February 2013. Leila’s passion is working with people and showing them the right way to a healthy lifestyle.
Shadow recently graduated from MSUM with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Strength and Conditioning. Shadow is group exercise certified and personal trainer certified through NETA. She enjoys working with clients one-on-one as well as in a group settings. Shadow teaches group fitness classes at the RFC and has been able to experience working with a variety of age groups from youth to senior citizens. She has a strong passion for working in this field and a love for helping teach people how to live a healthy lifestyle, reach goals, and benefit from fitness.
The Regional Fitness Center in Morris, Minnesota is a University of Minnesota, Morris Campus and Community Partnership. The center was formed in 1999 as a non-profit joint powers fitness center serving UMM, the City of Morris, Stevens County, and the Morris Area Schools. Our mission is to offer individuals and families, quality and affordable fitness and wellness opportunities.
