All classes require a Group Fitness Pass or Punch Card for participation for non-full time UMM students. These may be purchased at our front desk. Please ask your instructors if you have any questions.
HIIT! the water
High Intensity Interval Training in the water give you the kick of a high intensity workout in this low impact interval class in the pool. Try the class in our recreation pool (HIIT! Shallow) or take up the intensity in the competition dive well (HIIT! Deep).
Sunrise Splash (Located in Recreation Pool)
An aqua class designed for the deconditioned and aging populations. Join us in our warm water pool for a low-impact workout that is gentle on your joints to improve agility and flexibility. You will use a variety of aqua fitness tools to increase overall strength, balance and coordination. No swimming ability required!
Aqua Bootcamp (Located in the Recreation Pool)
An up-beat class for swimmers and non-swimmers with a little bit of everything. Cardio, muscle endurance, core, flexibility, and functional movement patterns in a circuit format. Great for those who love the water, are wanting to add variety to their workout routine, or looking for a low-impact, high-intensity option. Only in the water can you get
HIIT is a high intensity interval training cardio class. Engage in athletic and plyometric drills to burn maximum calories in a short amount of time, get the heart rate up and burn fat!
INSANITY™ is a cardio class, based on max interval training. This class will push you past your limits with athletic/plyometric drills mixed with intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training. No equipment or weights needed, workout with just your own body weight. Time to dig deep!
Come get tough with this 30-minute kick butt cardio workout! Involves a variety of different punches, kicks and kickboxing exercises to get the heart rate up and burn mega calories in a short amount of time.

Get your heart rate up with a 30-minute cardio strength circuit. With 5 rounds of intense cardio/strength circuits this class will challenge fit athletes yet can be easily modified for the beginner participant.

Empower your day! This cardio strength circuit is designed to make you healthier and stronger so you can conquer the challenges ahead!
Tabata & Core
An interval training workout that consists of 20 seconds of high intensity work followed by 10 seconds of rest. These intervals are combined with focused core work for a total body workout.
Yoga for the deconditioned and aging population. You will move through a series of seated and standing yoga postures using a chair for support as needed to improve strength, coordination, balance and flexibility
Connect with your body through traditional yoga poses and stretches. Improve your strength, flexibility, and posture through this mind body workout.
Body Barre is suited for people of all ages and fitness levels. It is a low-impact workout, great for getting your heart rate up without putting a lot of stress on the body. It will improve your balance and stability, as well as shape and sculpt muscles in your body.
Body Pump™ is the original barbell class that strengthens and tones your entire body. Total Body Toning is a 45 minute class that focuses on strengthening the entire body from head to toe. Come gain muscular strength with this class designed for all fitness levels.
Steated Strength & Cardio
A fitness class designed for the deconditioned and aging population. Using hand held weights, exercise tubing, balls and a chair, you will increase muscle strength and range of movement while improving cardiovascular and muscular endurance and power.
