GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

 

 

CLASS SCHEDULE-

 

 

Hatha Yoga physical fitness program that uses poses or static positions for the purpose of strength training, flexibility training and postural training and helps develop a mind body awareness.

 

Pilates Develop longer and leaner muscles, increase core strength and stability including pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilization, neutral alignment and patterned breathing.

 

Water Works Fun in the Pool! 45 minutes in the warm water pool that includes warm-up, stretching, aerobic exercise, and abdominal work along with resistance activities.

 

Creative Cardio An intermediate class that begins with a warm-up followed by 25-30 minutes of high/low impact moves for an intense and fun workout. Instructor may use some alternate choreography such as salsa, hip-hop, dance, ballet, etc! The class will end with some abdominal strengthening exercises and a final stretch!

 

Super Step A 40 minute moderate to high intensity step class that keeps you moving.  This class offers an active warm-up, challenging choreography, core exercise and final stretch.  Instructor may choose to do a double step choreography.

 

Cardio Tone This aerobic intense class is perfect for all levels.  We begin with a warm-up, followed by a fun cardio session, moving on to a high intensity full body strength training workout, and finishing up with abdominal exercises for a well rounded workout.

 

Circuit This class is for members that want a fun cardio workout with weight training that they can do on their own and at their own pace.  Circuit classes are now available M,W&F at 11:15 am.  You will go through a circuit class of your choice:  Total Body, Upper Body, Lower Body  and Core.  Each participant will be given a structured circuit workout to perform on their own.  Supervision will be available during the 11:15 class but circuit workouts  are available for anyone at anytime.
